Life Goals

Everyone has life goals, even myself. Some people have goals of wanting to get into college and get a nice job, while others have a life goal of becoming a famous singer. One life goal that is important to me is to do well in school, and in college. I know that college is going to be tough, especially with the class load that I will have, but I just need to push myself to get through it. Becoming a pharmacist is my next important life goal. I have always wanted to become a pharmacist. My Great Grandpa Ben, and my Great Uncle were/are pharmacists. My Great Grandpa Ben was a real inspiration for me. He was my role model, and he was the one that made me want to become a pharmacist. My great grandpa was a kind man, and he helped many people out. My great grandpa also made medicine into suckers for children that couldn’t swallow. Ever since I was little I wanted to become a pharmacist, because I saw what he did, and it made me want to do what he did. My great grandpa died when I was 10 to 12 years old, and I had wanted to do what he did even before he had died. I recently discovered that I really want to become a Pediatric Pharmacist. It just makes sense to me, because my great grandpa did many things for children. My last important life goal is to start a family. I want to get married someday after I get myself steady after college, and then I want to start a family with my husband.

Keeping Your Food Spending Under Control

One way in keeping your food spending under control is to not buy things that you don’t need, such as movies or food that you don’t need to be eating. You could also cut down on alcohol if you or your family member drinks a lot of alcohol. Another way to keep your food spending under control would to buy the Shurfine brands of food. They taste the same, and sometimes they are way better tasting. One more way to keep your food spending under control was to limit yourself to what you get your family. For example limit your kids to how much milk they can drink, or to how much goodies they can eat. Milk can be very expensive, and some kids drink it like crazy. Milk is also good for your kids, but is really expensive. Prices seem to just keep going farther and farther up. When limiting your kids to how much goodies they eat it is better, because you will save on snacks, but it also helps to make sure your kids aren’t obese. There are so many different yummy foods, some are expensive, and some may not be healthy for your family, so keeping your food spending under control can either be hard or easy to do.

Prom

Prom can be very expensive. You have to buy so many things, like your prom dress, tuxedo, corsages, high heels, necklaces, earrings, and many other accessories. Girls also have to pay to get their hair done. One way to save money when attending prom would be to get a cheap dress, and don’t go and buy that $500 dress. You could also borrow a dress, as that is becoming more and more popular. Another way to save money at prom would be to find cheaper high heels; you don’t have to have those really expensive and super cool shoes. I know how hard it is especially when you find those sweet looking shoes, because I absolutely love shoes. I have to stay away from shoe stores, because I tend to fall in love with about every gorgeous shoe! You could use a pair you already have, or borrow a pair from a friend. One more way to save money at prom would be to find a salon that will do your hair for a reasonable price. Also girls tend to want to get their nails done, but for me whenever I get mine done, my nails always tend to break off, so I have decided just to paint my nails, because it becomes a pain to deal with fake nails.
